Donald Trump's White House criticised the actor’s acting
Hollywood star George Clooney is responding to White House mocking him.
The 64-year-old star was criticised by the White House for his acting abilities after he accused US President Donald Trump of war crimes.
The Jay Kelly star has urged the President’s office to stop “infantile name-calling” serious matters.
The Oscar-winner spoke about it in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter saying “Families are losing their loved ones. Children have been incinerated. The world’s economy is on a knife’s edge.”
“This is a time for vigorous debate at the highest levels. Not for infantile name-calling.”
George added that the administration’s defense is weak by only calling him a “failed actor”, which he joked he agrees with after starring in Batman and Robin.
The Wolfs star’s statement comes after Trump threatened the end of a civilization amid the US-Iran conflict.
While speaking at a Clooney Foundation For Justice event in Cuneo, Italy, George addressed the harsh statement saying “Some say Donald Trump is fine. But if anyone says he wants to end a civilisation, that’s a war crime…”
The Hollywood star has been a vocal critic of the President since his 2016 electoral campagin.
