American actress Christina Applegate has addressed the public concern over her health after she was hospitalised.
The 54-year-old was reported to be in hospital for multiple nights after health scare, which had left her inner circle worried for her.
The Married… With Children actress was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, which she announced in August 2021 and since has been seeking treatment for the chronic disease.
Addressing her recent hospitalisation, she spoke to her fans on Instagram, insisting she is doing better.
In a post, she wrote “Thank you for the outpouring of love and well wishes.”
“Health issues are a constant for me, but I’m a strong chick and I’m getting stronger and better every day. I’m taking a moment to focus on my health, but I’ll be back with more to say soon enough.”
The actress’ friends were reportedly worried she might not live long, given her health condition.
Multiple sclerosis is a chronic disease of the immune system which affects the nervous system including the spinal chord and brain.
Other celebrities who have been battling with the condition include Selma Blair, Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Jack Osbourne.
