Justin Theroux raves about being the dad of his firstborn
Justin Theroux is loving the new change in his life, as a father after he welcomed his first baby with his wife, Nicole Brydon Bloom, a few days ago.
On Thursday, April 23, the Hollywood star raved about his new baby boy and his experience as a father for the first time during his appearance on Today.
“It's so hard to sum that up, but I just love looking into his eyeballs,” Theroux gushed about the newborn. “It's just beautiful, it's just a wonderful thing. We're in that period now where it's just, of course, quiet, a lot of tiptoeing around the house, beautiful, occasional crying. Yeah, it's wonderful.”
The Leftovers actor also shared that Bloom is currently “doing the Herculean task of feeding” their son.
However, about fatherhood, Theroux said, fatherhood is “so much better [than I imagined],” adding that he has been told by other fathers that he’ll “fall in love” when he sees the child.
“And the minute he appears, your whole life just starts to revolve around this thing, and your heart just opens up in a beautiful way,” Theroux noted. “So I'm really happy, really happy.”
Theroux and Brydon Bloom have kept details about their newborn largely under wraps. However, on April 18, the couple offered a rare glimpse into their new chapter, sharing a joint Instagram post featuring a shirtless Theroux cradling their baby boy.
“He’s here we are so in love,” they wrote in the caption, keeping it brief but deeply personal.
Theroux also shared about their pup, Kuma, and how she reacts towards “big sister” role. He noted that she doesn’t have jealousy issues with the arrival of new born.
