Some collaborations in cinema return not out of surprise, but out of habit. especially when a pairing hits a chord with movie mongers, they also keep looking after that.

That's exactly the case for one of the industry's most successful actor-director duo, Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan, who are now preparing to work together again.

The 58-year-old actor and 69-year-old filmmaker are set to reunite for not one but two new films, both bankrolled by producer Ramesh Taurani.

One of them is of comedy genre, expected to go on floors in January 2027, while the other is Bhoot Police 2, where the Khiladi actor will take the lead.
