After his latest international appearance, Indian singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh shared a message for Jimmy Fallon, thanking him for the opportunity to present his culture on a global platform.

The Udta Punjab actor had posted a video from the sets of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Instagram. The clip showed the two meeting inside the studio, greeting each other warmly, and sharing a brief hug. They were also seen doing Bhangra together during the interaction.

Along with the video, Diljit had written, “Brother you have such a positive aura about you. Thank you so much for giving us a platform to represent our culture. One love.”

During the show, he had spoken about one of his recent concerts in Vancouver. He had explained why the moment felt important to him.

“That stadium we did in Vancouver… our people came there for the first time in 1914, and they were not allowed to enter Canada,” he said.

He added, “That place is very close to the Komagata Maru site. Now, seeing thousands of people gather there for the show felt special.”

The Amar Singh Chamkila actor had also performed his track during the episode and interacted with the audiences.
