Wednesday came with disappointing news for Yash’s fans as his most anticipated film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is delayed again.

Makers shared the rescheduling news on social media, this time citing the film’s aim to reach a larger global audience as a reason.

Previously, the action drama was set to release on March 19, but in the wake of the global situation that arose from US-Iran tensions, it was rescheduled to June 4, 2026. After the latest delay, no new date has been announced yet.

The new decision came after the film’s presentation at CinemaCon, which resulted in a strong and encouraging response from global distributors and industry stakeholders.

However, this update triggered disappointment and anger among fans, who reacted strongly.

Responding to the new announcement, many fans expressed their frustration, criticising the makers and saying it would be better not to release the film.

Some fans also shared their feelings, saying the repeated postponement is killing the excitement, one commented, “The continued postponement is diminishing public interest and excitement for the film.”

A second user wrote, “Release on OTT now.. no need to hit the theatres as the hype is already dead now!”. “It's ok don't release the movie keep it with yourself only,” another comment read.

A user, disheartened, said that he has decided not to watch the film, “Even I can't wait anymore..i decided not to watch..if u not release on June.”
