Bar owner accuses Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce of hurting business during rumored wedding
NYC venue owner claims Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce ignored requests over rumored wedding
New York City bar owner has accused Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce of leaving his business empty during preparations for their rumored wedding.
The famous couple is rumoured to tie the knot in a grand event held at New York’s iconic Nadison Square Garden over the Fourth of July Holiday weekend.
Amid their wedding reports, the entire block has been shut down to ensure privacy for the couple and guests.
However, a bar owner on the block has claimed that security restrictions around the MSG forced his venue to close.
Michael O'Brien, owner of O'Brien's Bar & Grill opposite the venue said he repeatedly contacted city officials as well as representatives for Swift and Kelce in an effort to reach an arrangement, but alleges he never received a response.
In an interview with US Weekly, he said “We've reached out to the city, the mayor's office, NYPD, Travis Kelce's PR team, Taylor Swift's management company, I believe owned by her family or run by her family.”
“Travis and Taylor stonewalled (us). No replies to emails or phone calls or messages left.”
The famous couple has not commented on the claims or confirmed reports that they are marrying at the venue.
