Kriti Sanon, the rising diva of Bollywood, is celebrating her 36th birthday.
Sanon kickstarted her career in 2014 without any help as she did not have any acting background, neither did she had anyone from her family in showbiz.
She literally made her own name from scratch, reaching to a level now where she is now recognized as the National Awards winning actress in India.
As she turns 36, here are some of her classic film fans must rewatch on this special occasion.
Heropanti (2014):
Sanon marked her acting debut with Heropanti, an action romance movie alongside Tiger Shroff.
Directed by Sabbir Khan, the film focused on a girl named Renu, who elopes with her lover, her father Chowdhary then kidnaps Bablu, who knows about Renu’s whereabouts. But the story takes a turn when Bablu falls in love with Chowdhary’s younger daughter, Dimpy.
Dilwale (2015):
In 2015, the stunning Bollywood diva got a chance to share screen for the first time with the iconic couple of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in Dilwale, directed by Rohit Shetty.
The film also featured Varun Dhawan, Johnny Lever, Boman Irani and Varun Sharma.
The story revolved around Raj and Meera, who fall in love, but are forced to stay away from each other due to the equation shared by their mafia families. They get a second chance years later, when their young sibling fall in love with each other.
Mimi (2021):
Kriti won her first ever National Award in a Leading role for her spectacular performance in Laxman Utekar's Mimi.
In the film, she played the role of average girl living in small town in India, who becomes a surrogate mother for a young British couple. The story takes a turn when the couple decides not to give their name to unborn child, leaving Mimi to make some tough life choices.
The comedy drama also featured Pankaj Tripathi, Sai Tamhankar, Manoj Pahwa and Supriya Pathak.
Do Patti (2024):
Do Patti was the first film ever made under the banner of Sanon's production company Blue Butterfly Films.
The film featured her in dual roles and also starred Kajol and Shaheer Sheikh. The plot of the movie revolved around domestic violence.
Cocktail 2 (2026):
Kriti recently starred in the sequel of Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan and Diana Penty's Cocktail movie released in 2012.
The sequel starred her in bold character by the name Ally along with Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna.
