Zayn Malik’s daughter is eyeing towards following dad’s career path in future.

On Wednesday, February 11, while speaking on Call Her Daddy podcast, the One Direction singer revealed that her 5-years-old daughter Khai may want to pursue her career into K-pop.

"She definitely wants to be a K-Pop star," he told the host, Alex Cooper. "She's big into K-Pop."

Further reflecting on his feeling on the possibility of his daughter following in his footsteps, Zayn said he’d rather “keep her away” from the industry.

However, the Die For Me singer, who become a dad in September 2020, assured he will “support her” if being in the industry makes her happy.

"I'm just gonna have to support her," he said. "But me personally, yeah, I would like to keep her away from some of the headache that this job entails, you know?"

In July, the former One Direction star shared a rare glimpse of himself with his daughter Khai on Instagram Stories as the duo enjoyed a BLACKPINK concert. 

The photo captured Malik and Khai, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid, facing the crowd with their hands raised in the air.

"@Blackpinkofficial thank you :) Me & Khai loved it," he added the caption to the photo.
