Fans tuning in to watch Lorraine this week may have noticed the popular daytime chat show is missing from the schedule.

The programme which is hosted by Lorraine Kelly is temporarily off air as part of a wider shake-up to ITV’s daytime programming that came into effect at the start of 2026.

Under the changes the show has been moved to a seasonal format and will now air for 30 weeks of the year instead of running continuously.

Episodes have also been shortened to a 30-minute slot down from the previous hour-long format.

The schedule adjustment means other daytime programmes will temporarily fill the gap.

Good Morning Britain presented by Susanna Reid, Ed Balls, Kate Garraway and Richard Madeley, has been extended by 30 minutes during the first week of the change and will run until 10:00 AM.

Another daytime staple Loose Women is also temporarily off the schedule while ITV broadcasts live coverage of the Cheltenham Festival 2026.

When announcing the programming changes in 2025 ITV’s media and entertainment managing director Kevin Lygo said the adjustments would help maintain strong daytime content while allowing the broadcaster to manage production costs and invest in other genres.

The break also comes after Kelly recently lost her voice forcing her to miss the final two episodes before the planned pause.

Presenter Christine Lampard stepped in to host the programme on March 6.
