Jessica Simpson is reportedly dating a Nashville-based musician just months after confirming her split from husband Eric Johnson signalling a new chapter in her personal life.

According to reports the 45-year-old singer has been seeing Thomas Eisenhood for around three months. The meetings grew after the pair met through mutual connections in the music industry. The relationship is said to still be in its early stages.

Simpson who has spent increasing time in Nashville while working on her recent music is believed to see Eisenhood during visits to her second home in the city.

Eisenhood works as a monitor engineer at a local live music venue. He is also associated with the band Stoop Kids and has performed as a baritone saxophonist.

Sources suggest he has not yet met Simpson’s children. Simpson confirmed in January 2025 that she and Johnson had separated after more than a decade of marriage describing the split as “painful.”

Since then she has focused on music and personal growth releasing her Nashville Canyon EP project which she said reflects “healing, honesty, and finding strength in vulnerability.”

While neither Simpson nor Eisenhood has publicly confirmed the relationship the reported romance comes as the singer appears to be embracing both a creative and personal reset following her separation.
