R&B mainstays Chris Brown and Usher have confirmed plans for a co-headlining run titled the Raymond & Brown Tour, teasing fans with a cinematic announcement on April 10.

The pair revealed the project through a collaborative Instagram post featuring a stylised clip of the singers riding motorcycles toward a venue before stepping into an elevator. 

The teaser builds to a charged moment backstage, with Usher declaring, “It’s time,” to which Brown responds, “Hell yeah,” before walking out to a roaring crowd.

While dates and venues remain under wraps, the announcement alone has stirred anticipation among R&B listeners, particularly given both artists’ recent momentum on the live circuit.

Brown has been riding high following his Breezy Bowl XX tour, while Usher continues to draw packed audiences through his Past Present Future tour and a widely talked-about Las Vegas residency that has kept him firmly in the spotlight.

The collaboration also taps into a long-standing creative overlap between the two. 

Their 2014 track New Flame, which also featured Rick Ross, remains a fan favourite, while Usher’s recent appearance on It Depends (The Remix) alongside Brown and Bryson Tiller reignited online buzz. The remix notably samples Usher’s late ’90s hit Nice & Slow, folding past and present into one track.

Adding to the momentum, Brown has also confirmed a new album slated for release on May 8, signalling a packed season ahead for the singer.

For fans, the promise of Raymond & Brown isn’t just another tour; it’s shaping up to be a full-circle moment for two artists whose careers have long run in parallel, now finally converging on one stage.
