Niall Horan addresses potential One Direction reunion without Zayn Malik?
Niall Horan sparks debate with latest comment on One Direction reunion
Niall Horan has once again spoken about the potential reunion of One Direction two years after Liam Payne’s demise.
Ever since the band had split in 2016, the members have been time and again asked about a reunion at various occasions separately.
Each one of them has openly welcomed the idea, but none of them know when it is exactly going to happen.
After Payne’s death in 2024, the demand of a One Direction reunion doubled up as fans across the globe were expecting a tribute from the boys, but that didn’t happen either.
The 32-year-old Irish singer once again addressed the matter in an interview with The Times of London, where he expressed how it still excites him that people still want a reunion of Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall.
He said in a statement, “God knows. I mean look at Harry there, look at Louis, the boys are flying, so God knows, but everyone still asks about it, it’s exciting.”
His remark sparked debate as Malik fans noticed that Horan didn’t mention former in his statement and forced them to believe that whenever they all gather, they might not include the PILLOWTALK singer as there still is an ongoing beef ignited following his sudden exit from the band in 2015.
One of the social media users wrote, “What about Zayn?” Meanwhile, another one mentioned, “really just the three of us.”
However, there is no clarity about Harry, Louis and Niall’s relationship with Zayn, but reports say that it is a bit edgy.
