Shah Rukh Khan is known for his charming persona across the industry, and many of his fellow actors and co-stars have praised him for his kindness over the years.

The actor, widely known as King Khan of Bollywood, once won over Upasana Singh with his humility.

In an exclusive interview with Siddharth Kannan, Upasana recalled how the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actor refused to call her ugly on The Kapil Sharma Show.

Referring to her character on the show, Singh said that Kapil had asked SRK to insult her as part of the script, but the actor refused.

Reminiscing about Kapil’s words at the time, Upasana said, “She’s much older than us, her looks aren’t great, her eyes aren’t nice, she’s not pretty.” However, Shah Rukh, in his usual charming way, responded, “How can I tell her she’s ugly? Upasana, how can I say you look like that?”

In addition, she revealed that she had initially been chosen as the female lead for Maine Pyar Kiya, but was replaced by Bhagyashree on Raj Kumar Barjatya’s insistence.
