Angelina Jolie makes shocking confession about ‘special scars’ in life
‘Tomb Raider’ star opens up about the 'perfect idea of a life' in a new interview
Angelina Jolie has recently revealed that the perfect idea of a life to her are those scars in life she got from double mastectomy back in 2013.
The Maleficent actress described the scars as a choice, she’s grateful she could make in a new interview with French Inter.
“I've always been someone more interested in the scars and the life that people carry,” said the 50-year-old.
Angelina explained that she’s “not drawn to some perfect idea of a life that has no scars”.
Therefore, the Tomb Raider star revealed that she sees her “scars are a choice I made to do what I could do to stay here as long as I could with my children”.
Angelina noted that her love for scars is because of her choice and that’s she’s “grateful about”.
“I had the opportunity to have the choice to do something proactive about my health. I lost my mom when I was young, and I'm raising my children without a grandmother,” mentioned the Wanted actress.
Sharing insights about life, Angelina added, “If you get to the end of your life and you haven't made mistakes, you haven't made a mess, you don't have scars, you haven't lived a full enough life, I think.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress will next be seen in upcoming movie, Courture, set to release in theatres on February 18.
