Keith Urban hit by new family strain as daughter Sunday distances herself
The ‘Let It Roll’ singer faces fresh setback as daughter Sunday Rose makes bold move
Keith Urban is reportedly facing another setback involving his eldest daughter, Sunday Rose, in the wake of his high-profile split from Nicole Kidman.
Sunday, 19, who has been pursuing a modelling career since 2024, recently unfollowed her father on Instagram in a surprising move.
Despite this, Urban, 58, continues to follow his daughter.
The Messed Up As Me crooner’s relationship with daughters Sunday and 17-year-old Faith Margaret has reportedly been strained since his split from Nicole in September 2025, with claims suggesting they are unwilling to meet his rumoured girlfriend, Karley Scott Collins.
According to celebrity reporter Rob Shuter, the girls are "refusing to meet Urban’s new girlfriend" to show solidarity with their mother
Shuter added, "The girls are really focused on mum right now. They're adjusting to all the changes, and it's natural they want to protect their space."
At the same time, Keith is said to be doing his best to balance his personal life while prioritising Sunday and Faith’s needs.
"He wants them to be comfortable, but the girls' priority is their mum and their own well-being," the insider noted.
The reports come after Sunday appeared to overlook her father while praising her mother in a recent interview.
"I definitely gained a lot of interest from those experiences and especially being privileged enough to experience them at a young age," she said in an Elle Australia interview in March 2026.
Sunday remarked, "My mum is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life. She’s a key part of everything I do."
