Indian singer Diljit Dosanjh is expanding is horizons with his music promotion in US.
The 42-year-old made appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday, April 27, where he spoke about his upcoming album and brought his culture to US television.
During the show, Jimmy asked the singer about his signature phrase “Punjabi Agaye” which he chants at his live shows.
Explaining the phrase, Diljit said it is like his signature.
“[It means] Like, Punjabi arrived.”, the singer replied.
He further said “It’s for the new kids, when they come on that stage, so they know we are here. Now we go from here to another level.”
The Born to Shine singer also taught Jimmy to do folk Punjabi dance bhangra on his song Morni with him.
The show’s official Instagram shared snippet of the dance with the caption “@diljitdosanjh brings AURA to Studio 6B #FallonTonight #DiljitOnFallon.”
Diljit’s new album AURA was released in October 2025.
His upcoming project is titled Main Vaapas Aaunga, directed by Imtiaz Ali.
