Stephen Colbert makes history with 'unprecedented move' before retirement
Stephen Colbert leaves fans amazed with surprising move
Stephen Colbert has pulled off an impossible move before biding farewell to the Late Night franchise.
The 61-year-old TV show host is all set to step down from his decade-long role as a late night host. The finale episode of the show is going to broadcast on May 21.
But before biding farewell to his 11-year-old run, he did something that has not been done so far in the history.
Colbert left fans surprised by hosting all late night legends together in his show on May 12.
Stephen invited Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers, Jimmy Fallon and John Oliver to the latest episode of his Late Night Show, making it a memorable night for himself and fans.
The surprising move has broken the internet as fans are going crazy witnessing all legends come together in one episode.
One of them penned an emotional comment that read, “It’s like looking at the Mount Rushmore of late night chat show hosts. We will miss you, Stephen.”
Meanwhile, another flabbergasted fan simply wrote, “Wow. Completely unprecedented.”
“How cool is that? I never see all these guys together. Love that John Oliver is here. Unexpected”, commented a third amazed fan.
The latest episode is a proof that they thought of each other as a competition and were always supportive of each other.
It is pertinent to mention that Kimmel has especially called off the production of the new episode, set to air on May 21 out of respect to Colbert’s retirement.
