Sebastian Stan releases first-ever statement confirming role in 'Batman II'
Scarlett Johansson, Barry Keoghan might join 'Batman II' star cast
Sebastian Stan has finally broken his silence about his casting in The Batman Part II.
The 43-year-old is all set to play Two Face aka Harvey Dent in the upcoming Matt Reeves movie led by Robert Pattinson, previously played by Aaron Eckhart in The Dark Knight.
This will mark as Stan’s debut in the DC world after years of playing Bucky Barnes aka Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
So far, there were only rumours of him playing Two Face, in the new sequel until now, when he has finally spoken about the role.
Yesterday, Jason Walsh teased that Sebastian has already started training for the Batman II movie.
Earlier today, Stan’s first statement came out about becoming a part of the DC universe and playing Harvey Dent.
While talking to Deadline, the Captain America: Civil War actor teased, "It will be a challenge, like everything else. I feel like it’s a really ambitious movie and I think if we do it all right, I really think it’s going to blow people away.”
He further confessed that he is super excited to work with Reeves as he has been one of his favourites for a long time.
Rumours also have it that Scarlett Johansson and Barry Keoghan will also be joining the star cast of Batman II.
The 2027 action sci-fi will feature Robert along with Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis and Jeffery Wright.
