After delivering widely liked films like Welcome, Singh Is Kinng and Thank You, Akshay Kumar and Anees Bazmee have joined hands again for another comedy project backed by Dil Raju.

The film has already completed a major portion of shooting, and the director is expected to finish the remaining schedule by the end of May. 

People close to the production say the atmosphere on set has been filled with constant laughter.

A report by Bollywood Hungama quoted the source as, "Akshay Kumar is very happy with how the situational comedy is shaping up. He is impressed with Anees' take on humour, which is magical and stands out even today. 

He has also told Anees to come with another film, as he is confident that the ongoing assignment is a winner. Akshay and the entire crew are laughing out loud on the set, and also while seeing the rushes. This is among the funniest shooting experiences for Anees and Akshay."

The source further shared that one of the biggest comic elements in the film comes from the father-son relationship shown in the story.

"The film is being readied for a December 2026 release. It's a full-on packaged comedy entertainer with super hit music. The team has already shot for a Holi dance number, which will be among the major highlights upon the release. It's choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, and Akshay has killed it in the shoot," the source added.

Meanwhile, Akshay is enjoying the success of the recent release horror comedy Bhooth Bangla, while Welcome To The Jungle is lined up for release in June.
