'The Gentlemen' gets exciting update
The wait is almost over for The Gentlemen fans, as Netflix has confirmed that Season 2 will premiere on September 3.
Along with the premiere date announcement, Netflix also unveiled a first-look teaser, offering fans an early glimpse of what's to come.
Fans can expect a thrilling season as the official logline for the second installment reads, "It’s been one year since Eddie (Theo James) and Susie (Kaya Scodelario) joined forces to work together in Bobby’s (Ray Winstone) criminal empire overseas. As they drive to expand their enterprise, the decisions Bobby is making seem to be increasingly unsound. Now Eddie and Susie must decide whether to take action or risk losing it all, but unfettered ambition never ends well…"
Taking to Instagram, Netflix announced the exciting news, with a carousel of first look images of what is expected from the new season.
"We’re heading back to Halstead Manor. Here’s your first look at S2 of The Gentlemen, coming to Netflix on 3 September," the caption of the post read.
The cast members returning for the upcoming season includes, Theo, Kaya, Joely Richardson and Vinnie Jones.
However, they will be joined by Hugh Bonneville, Benjamin Clementine, Benedetta Porcaroli, Michele Morrone, Sergio Castellitto, Amra Mallassi, Tyler Conti, British professional boxer Chris Eubank Jr and TV host, broadcaster and entrepreneur Maya Jama.
The series is inspired by Guy Ritchie's film of the same name.
