Comedian Kapil Sharma is ending 2025 on a different kind of high note, not with a punchline on stage but with a cup of coffee in Dubai.

The television star, stepping further into the food business and taking his brand beyond screens and studios, by opening Kap’s Cafe in the UAE on December 31.

The café, inspired by the look and feel of his Netflix show, is being pitched as a place where fans can sit, eat and soak in the world built around hiss comedy.

In a short Instagram video, the 44-year-old is seen against the Dubai skyline before the camera moves to the café’s entrance. He appears on screen holding a coffee and welcoming a customer, setting a relaxed and friendly tone.

The décor is expected to mirror the cosy style of his café in Surrey, Canada, which mixes warm interiors with visual nods to his on-screen persona.

Kap’s Cafe in Dubai will reportedly open from 4 pm to 12 am on its first day. While the full menu has not been revealed, the Canadian branch serves both Indian and Western food, including vada pav, pasta and a wide range of hot and cold drinks.

The café launch comes as The Great Indian Kapil Show continues to perform well online.

Its fourth season has clocked 2.3 million views in two weeks and is currently among Netflix India’s most-watched non-fiction shows, with guests ranging from Priyanka Chopra Jonas to the Indian Women’s Cricket Team.
