In what fans had long hoped for,  Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda finally tied the knot on 26 February 2026. The wedding was grand but deeply personal. And by the looks of it, very emotional too.

The couple chose designer Anamika Khanna for their Telugu wedding outfits, and when celebrity weddings are often defined by pastel palettes and minimal aesthetics, their looks spoke loudly of tradition.

The 29-year-old actress wore a rich rust saree with a bold red-and-gold border. Temple-house motifs were embroidered across the drape in antique gold. The outfit felt sacred and detailed, almost like a story stitched into fabric.

She paired it with a beige veil and heavy gold jewellery from Shree Jewellers. Layered necklaces, baajubandhs, a mathapatti, kadas and oversized jhumkas completed the look.

Her makeup stayed simple. Nude lips and a natural base. But her hair made a statement. Soft waves decorated with mogra strings and a heavy jada billa gave her bridal look more drama.

On the other hand, the 36-year-old actor’s look was something many were not expecting from a modern-day celebrity groom.

His traditional attire, carried with natural charisma, immediately grabbed everyone’s attention. Many fans even felt he “outshone the bride”, while others said he gave the vibes of a Hindu god.

His ivory dhoti and vermillion angavastram (shawl-style shoulder cloth) were inspired by Hyderabad’s textile legacy. Forest and temple motifs were embroidered carefully across the fabric

He too wore layered gold jewellery, including cuffs, a kamarbandh and even an anklet. He looked every bit royal.

But it wasn’t just about clothes. Photos from the varmala ceremony showed both actors teary-eyed. As they exchanged garlands, emotions took over.
