The new James Bond is one of the biggest secrets of Hollywood right now.

The upcoming 007 movie will feature a new face as the iconic British spy, however, the face is still a secret.

Amazon MGM Studios, whoa acquired the creative rights of the franchise, have shared an update on the casting.

While making an appearance at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, the studio's head of film Courtenay Valenti offered an update to Bond fans.

She said “Please know that we’re taking the time to do this with care and deep respect. It is the dream of a lifetime for all of us to bring audiences this next chapter, and it’s a responsibility we don’t take lightly.”

It was confirmed that the new movie will be created by filmmaker Denis Villeneuve and written by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight.

Courtenay said that with a team this skilled, “you’re setting the stage for something that’s truly worthy of the Bond legacy.”

“That film is coming, and when the time is right, we’ll have much more to share.”

There were rumours that some British actors including Damson Idris, Jacob Elordi and Callum Turner are in the running but nothing has been confirmed yet.
