French film star Nathalie Baye has died at age 77, Agenceu France-Presse reported, citing her family.

She passed away on April 17, at her home in Paris, the French news agency reported.

Nathalie succumbed to her death at her Paris residence due to complications linked to Lewy body dementia, which affects thinking, mobility, and behavior over time, as per reports.

Concerns about her health came up last summer as her condition declined.

It was then revealed that she was suffering from Lewy body dementia.

Her passing left many fans in shock, marking the end of a career that spanned over 100 performances.

She had starred in many productions like Catch Me if You Can directed by Steven Spielberg, Nox, Call My Agent!, Spin, Downton Abbey: A New Era and more.

After her family confirmed the news, Nathalie's fans flooded social media with their reactions.
