Neetu Kapoor has unveiled what kind of a mother Alia Bhatt is to granddaughter Raha.

Recently, the mother-daughter duo Neetu and Riddhima Kapoor appeared on Soha Ali Khan’s All About Her podcast, where the 67-year-old veteran actress opened how Alia and Ranbir are as parents to Raha.

Most of her focus was on the Gangubai Kathiwadi actress as Neetu shared that she is a strict parent, while confessing that I’m always fighting with her.

According to the Jugjugg Jeeyo actress, Raha is afraid of her mother as she teaches her discipline all the time.

“Raha listen to Alia. Alia is a great mother. Ranbir is a friend, and she’s all fun with him. But she’s very afraid of her mother”, said Kapoor.

While praising daughter-in-law Bhatt, she added, “Yeah, she’s a disciplinarian. She’s teaching her the right things you know like no TV and no this and that. I’m always fighting with her.

“I say, ‘what is this Alia. Let me give her one chocolate’, and she says, ‘No. can you understand sugar is not good for her. I say ‘it’s okay, I’m the grandmother let me spoil her.”

Neetu further shared her opinion on the previous and current styles of parenting saying, “I think times are different. So I did whatever best I could do in my times and now today because times have changed. They are the best parents. They know what to do. I don’t want to interfere. I just want to be a good grandmother.

Alia and Ranbir welcomed daughter Raha Kapoor in November 2022.
