The romantic comedy Madhuvidhu is kind of getting ready for its digital premiere so that viewers can actually watch this emotional family entertainer from home.

The movie which hit theatres on April 23, 2026 got a positive vibe from the audience mainly because of its humour the emotional moments and a quirky take on love marriage and all that family chaos stuff.

Madhuvidhu will start streaming on SonyLIV starting May 22. It is a loving comedy thing that digs into today’s relationships and matrimony mostly through characters that feel relatable and familiar plus a bunch of amusing disagreements and those emotionally warm moments.

The movie has been directed by Aravind and written by Bibin Mohan and Jai Vishnu. It’s produced by Ajith Vinayaka, Santhakumar and Malavika Krishnadas under the banner of Ajith Vinayaka Films and Babu Ettan Films

Madhuvidhu gets drawn after Amrutharaj who is played by Sharaf U Dheen a young man living inside a pretty chaotic home all men everywhere no women at all. His wedding hopes just keep unraveling, bit by bit since people keep saying that his fully male household is cursed.

Things finally start to shift when Amrutharaj sort of stumbles into love with Sneha played by Kalyani Panicker.

Still the married days arrive and with them all those little complications that show up almost instantly. The newlyweds then end up tangled between goofy family moments interfaith frictions and the daily grind of trying to make a life together you know like one step at a time.

The movie has Sharaf U Dheen basically in two different roles like Aanjilimoottil Amruth Raj and also Aanjilimoottil Narayanan Kartha Kalyani Panicker plays Sneha Markose.
