Perrie Edwards and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have tied the knot in a romantic wedding ceremony held in Portugal with close family and friends in attendance.

The former Little Mix singer and the ex-footballer exchanged vows at a small Catholic church in Quinta do Lago in the Algarve which is a location the couple frequently visits and also owns a villa in.

32-year-old Perrie was seen arriving in a vintage white Mercedes convertible wearing a lace gown with a corset bodice and sleeves while Alex who is also 32 arrived ahead of the ceremony.

After the service the couple emerged hand in hand as guests cheered with Perrie holding a bouquet of white calla lilies.

A source said the day was “intimate and emotional” adding that the couple’s son Axel played a special role in the ceremony.

Friends and family reportedly attended the celebrations including Perrie’s former Little Mix bandmates Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock along with close friends of Oxlade-Chamberlain.

In the lead-up to the wedding Perrie also drew attention from a conversation with Jamie Laing’s podcast where she reflected on being “dumped” by Zayn Malik in her previous relationship and how Zayn's relationship timeline with new girflfriend Gigi Hadid “overlapped” with her's.

Perrie has since moved on and often spoken positively about her relationship with Alex.

Perrie has previously spoken about her relationship with Alex saying she feels “safe” and “content” with him describing him as calm, caring and supportive.

The couple who have been together since 2017 got engaged in 2022 and share two children together including daughter Alanis Valentine born earlier this year.

The couple’s wedding has drawn attention from fans across music and sport marking a new chapter in their long-term relationship.
