Kapil Sharma's 'Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon 2' review
Early buzz disappoints as Kapil Sharma’s film struggles to impress the audience
In an industry that loves big claims of “fresh stories” and “new worlds,” Kapil Sharma’s Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon 2 quietly does the opposite.
The comedy drama doubles down on an idea that already worked once, a man stuck in a web of accidental marriages, and simply stretches it further, the only change is that this time, adding a religious twist.
The sequel brings back the chaos of Mohan Sharma, a simple man from Bhopal whose only real dream is to marry his girlfriend Sanya. But as families object, religious conversions get tangled, and one wedding turns into four.
Releasing at a time when a peak action film like Dhurandar is roaring at the box office, this light-hearted comedy doesn’t seem to impress audiences.
In early reviews on X (formerly Twitter), film buffs are painting a picture that is not encouraging for Kapil Sharma.
An X user wrote, "Absolutely Terrible! Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 The story feels forced, the jokes are painfully recycled, and the dialogues are so cringe that even the actors look embarrassed saying them. The performances? — No one could save this disaster."
A netizen tweeted, "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 Has Been A Disappointment. It Was An Unnecessary Sequel That Had No Need To Exist. Leaving Aside A Few Of #KapilSharma’s Jokes,You Will Hardly Find Any Entertaining Scenes In The Entire Film."
Another netizen postedd, "#KisKiskoPyaarKaroon2Review ~ OUTDATED! Ratings – ½ star." Check out the tweets below...
However, few netizens liked the film, but even they gave it only 3 stars.
Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 is a sequel to Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, which was released in 2015 and was a superhit at the box office.
