Is Ricardo Kaka dead? Truth behind viral death rumours
Reports claimed that Ricardo died due to a heart condition
Fans across the world were left in shock as news of the former Brazilian footballer’s death began to circulate online. Various social media posts alleged that the player passed away due to a genetic heart condition.
But the question remains: Is he really dead, or is it just another hoax?
So far, there has been no confirmation of this news. Most credible media outlets have dismissed it as a “celebrity death hoax.” Furthermore, his official social media channels have not released any statement regarding such a tragedy.
The false reports claimed that Kaka was suffering from hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. This is a rare genetic disease that leads to the thickening of the heart muscles, resulting in irregular heartbeats and potentially cardiac arrest.
Kaka is a legendary Brazilian footballer who won the 2002 FIFA World Cup and the Ballon d’Or in 2007. The 43-year-old played as an attacking midfielder for elite clubs such as AC Milan, Real Madrid, Orlando City SC, and Sao Paulo FC.
He was married to his childhood sweetheart from 2005 to 2015. Following their divorce, he married Carolina Dias in 2019.
Fans can take a sigh of relief: there is no truth to these reports. The incident was nothing more than a heartless internet hoax.
