Hailee Steinfeld has opened up about the lifestyle changes she is making as she prepares to embark on the journey of motherhood.

In the February 6 edition of her newsletter Beau Society, the 29-year-old actress shared how she has adjusted her fitness and workout routine during her first pregnancy, per Us Weekly.

“I’m prioritising listening to my body, which has been a consistent thing I’ve always done when it comes to working out, regardless of my physical state,” Steinfeld wrote.

She added, “Recently, I’ve been doing a lot of walking. Sometimes I set out for 30 minutes, and it ends up being 15, or less than that. I’m taking it slow, but movement is key.”

The Hawkeye actress also revealed that she has started walking up and down stairs to maintain mobility.

Elsewhere in her newsletter, when asked by a fan how she maintains “an intentional relationship” with husband Josh Allen while both partners remain busy, Steinfeld responded, “I love this question. There’s an easy answer in my brain. I don’t want it to seem cliché, but we focus on being truly present with each other.”

She added that making time for regular date nights and adopting a no-phone policy has been especially meaningful.

“More specifically, we’re big on weekly date nights and going no-phones for an hour at the end of the day,” the True Grit actress explained.

Steinfeld and Allen tied the knot on May 31, 2025, and announced on December 12 of the same year that they are expecting their first child together.

On the professional front, Hailee Steinfeld’s latest film Sinners has made Oscars history, becoming the most-nominated film ever with 16 nods.
