Coachella issues statement updating about the sudden cancellation
Anyma’s closing performance at the first weekend of 2026 Coachella was cancelled last minute.
The Italian American DJ was supposed to take the main stage of the biggest musical event exactly 90 minutes after headliner Sabrina Carpenter’s act.
Around 12:17 A.M, the festival organizers gave attendees a schedule update announcing the cancellation of Anyma’s final performance.
The final actor was cancelled last minute due to severe weather conditions.
The authorities shared the update via the Coachella app. The statement read, “Due to strong wind conditions affecting Anyma’s stage build, he is unable to perform.”
The decision was taken immediately for the safety of the all the music lovers, who came to attend the big event.
The statement further read, “Coachella & Anyma have made this decision together with your safety as the priority. Further updates to come.”
Viewers, who attended the show via live streaming, were informed about the cancellation with a note reading “Stage Wrapped” appeared over the main stage.
So far, it is unclear whether Anyma’s performance will be rescheduled for the next weekend.
The first weekend of Coachella kickstarted with a blast as Sabrina gave an electrifying performance that also included a surprise appearance by Will Farrell.
For the 2nd and 3rd Weekend Justin Bieber and Karol G are going to be the headliners.
