Zayn Malik recently expressed his desire to work with legend 50 Cent.

The 33-year-old singer is nowadays promoting his upcoming album "KONNAKOL".

He recently sat down for a fun chat with Rolling Stone, where he shared his life in 10 songs. One of the songs that he mentioned was the popular Candy Shop from 50 Cents.

While talking about Candy Shop, Zayn added, “It came out when I was in school and it was just one of them songs that popped off, you know, everyone was listening to it.”

Calling the 50-year-old a legend, the PILLOWTALK singer said, “I feel like there’s a lot of songs of his that I could have put on this list but that’s like one of my favourites from him for sure.”

Malik further mentioned that he heard previously that 50 said something cool about him in an interview.

He wasn’t sure what the legend said about him, but he said probably it was about signing him.

Zayn added, “But you know, it’s still on cards. Never say never. If this shit falls through, I’ll hit 50 up and ask him if he wants to sign me as a rapper.”

The former One Direction singer’s fifth solo album "KONNAKOL" is coming out on April 17.
