Riddhima Kapoor Sahni will begin her film career through her role in Daadi Ki Shaadi which she describes as an emotional experience that transformed her.

Riddhima shared her new chapter through the moment which she considers important because she draws personal strength from her late father Rishi Kapoor.

Speaking about her debut she shared, “It truly feels surreal and deeply emotional. There’s a sense of everything coming full circle… I know my father is always with me blessing me in anything and everything that I choose to do. That thought gives me a lot of strength and comfort."

Entering this field come with its share of hurdles which Riddhima acknowledged so vocally.

“Honestly the biggest challenge was stepping into an entirely new world at this stage of life. There’s a certain vulnerability in starting fresh but also a lot of excitement at the same time," she said highlighting the mix of nerves and enthusiasm that accompanied her transition.

It was really good that she knew about camera stuff and this made everything smooth for her.

“Being in front of the camera for a show made me comfortable. It gave me a sense of ease and familiarity which definitely made this transition smoother," she added.

Describing the experience, she said, “Working with mom was incredibly special. I discovered how effortless and instinctive she is as an actor." Further talking about her mother’s advice about ‘staying natural and not overthinking’, Riddhima admitted, “It really helped me ease into my performance."

Daadi Ki Shaadi is a romantic comedy directed by Ashish R. Mohan and features an ensemble cast including Kapil Sharma, Sadia Khateeb and Sarath Kumar alongside Neetu Kapoor.

The film presents a humorous exploration of romantic relationships and family relationships which leads to its main emotional theme.

The release of Daadi Ki Shaadi in cinemas which is scheduled for May 8 serves as Riddhima Kapoor Sahni's professional achievement and personal milestone because it represents a new start that combines her family heritage with her family connections.
