Nearly two decades after No Entry became a comedy hit, its sequel seems to be struggling to get past the casting stage.

The planned follow-up, reportedly titled No Entry Mein Entry, has been making headlines for years because of constant changes in its cast.

First, Salman Khan confirmed he was part of the film before later stepping away. Then actors Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh were linked to the project.

Now, according to fresh reports, Varun Dhawan is also no longer attached to the sequel.

A source close to the development said, “Varun Dhawan is no longer associated with No Entry 2. The speculations around him being part of the film are not true.”

The source added that the 39-year-old actor is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai and claimed that the sequel has now been “put on hold”.

The Bhediya star’s reported exit comes months after Diljit Dosanjh also stepped away from the film.

Producer Boney Kapoor had earlier admitted that losing the original cast was disappointing.

“Now we are trying to give a fresh start with a younger lot of actors. But at the same time, we will miss Salman, we will miss Anil and Fardeen,” he had said.

On the film front Varun Dhawan is currently gearing up for the release of his romantic comedy Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, set to hit the theaters on June 5, 2026. The film also stars MMrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde in key roles.
