Ryan Reynolds has reacted to wife Blake Lively’s return to the Met Gala as her legal battle with Justin Baldoni finally came to an end after one and a half years.

On Monday, May 4, the 38-year-old actress marked her return to fashion’s biggest night at The Metropolitan Museum of Art four years later, just hours after reaching a legal settlement with her It Ends With Us co-star in a dispute that began in December 2024.

Shortly afterward, Reynolds, 49, took to his Instagram Stories to show support for his wife of more than 13 years by reposting a reel of her walking the red carpet at the star-studded event.

The viral reel reposted by the Deadpool star captured the Another Simple Favor actress dazzling in a stunning pink gown complete with a sweeping long train.

He also shared a selfie with Lively, with the couple smiling at the camera.

The subtle show of support from Reynolds came after the Gossip Girl alum and the Jane the Virgin actor’s respective attorneys revealed they had reached a settlement after 18 months, ahead of the trial date set for May 18.

Lively and Baldoni’s lawyers released a joint statement announcing the resolution of the long-running legal dispute.

"The end product — the movie It Ends With Us — is a source of pride to all of us who worked to bring it to life. Raising awareness, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors — and all survivors — is a goal that we stand behind," the statement read.

It added, "We acknowledge the process presented challenges and recognize concerns raised by Ms. Lively deserved to be heard. We remain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments."

"It is our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online," the statement concluded.
