Lady Gaga wins the Best Pop Vocal Album category at this year’s Grammys, Miley Cyrus’ reaction
Miley Cyrus has recently been making headlines for her awkward reaction after the announcement of the winner in the Best Pop Vocal Album category at the 2026 Grammy Awards.
This year, Cyrus was nominated for her 2025 album, Something Beautiful, alongside other musical artists including Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Teddy Swims and Sabrina Carpenter.
Eventually, Gaga was announced as the winner in the category during the award ceremony.
Before the singer took the stage, the cameras panned to the audience, showing the reactions of other nominees such as Carpenter and Cyrus.
Interestingly, the Flowers singer didn’t give Gaga a standing ovation like most of the people around her. Intead, she was seen whispering to her fiancé Maxx Morando.
Meanwhile, Cyrus' straight-faced response toward Gaga drew mixed reactions from fans online.
Some online users bashed the Last Song star on X, writing, “Miley’s face during lady gaga winning? EXCUSE ME ?!”
Another user said, “Gaga is using Miley's ex as a producer, she shouldn't stand up for that.”
“Why the shade to gaga, Miley??” remarked a third user.
However, many fans of Miley quickly came to her defense with one wrote, “Miley did the right thing… no respect to home wrecker.”
Some other fans mentioned, “Stop creating drama over nothing.”
“How exactly did she snub her? Why is it so urgent for you to put two women against each other? They are both amazing! just stop,” added another user.
