Kim Kardashian’s recent bar exam failure has reportedly prompted her to make a serious decision about the future of her legal career.

According to a recent report by TMZ, the 45-year-old reality star has decided to take a hiatus from her long-running dream of becoming a lawyer following her failed attempt at the bar exam in July 2025.

An insider told the outlet that Kardashian also missed the February bar exam and currently has no plans to retake it this coming July.

The update comes after she admitted to failing the California bar exam last November.

“Well… I’m not a lawyer yet. I just play a very well-dressed one on TV,” the SKIMS founder wrote on her Instagram Story at the time.

She added, “Six years into this law journey, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up — just more studying and even more determination.”

Two months later, Kardashian admitted that the setback had taken a toll on her self-confidence.

“I took a minute to process that, and instantly, when I got my results, I didn’t feel good about it. I was really uncomfortable and not confident for a while,”she told Time Magazine.

The fashion mogul continued, “You get the results on a Friday, and I knew Sunday morning they were going to be live on the internet. So I wanted to mention it first and let people know that it didn’t go my way.”

Inside Kim Kardashian's personal life

On the personal front, Kardashian has been dating Lewis Hamilton since the start of 2026, with speculation intensifying after the pair were spotted together in Europe and at the Super Bowl in February.
