R B Choudary who became famous through his production work at Super Good Films died on May 5, 2026 because of a serious traffic collision that happened in Rajasthan.

The Tamil film industry and the Telugu film industry and the Malayalam film industry complete their mourning for this tragic event which has left everyone in shock.

He was travelling after attending a family wedding when the accident took place turning a normal journey into a heartbreaking tragedy.

One India revealed that RB Choudary visited Lilamba village in Rajasthan to attend his close relative's wedding. He returned home after the event bringing his son-in-law and driver Gautam with him in their car.

The driver lost control of the car at 3 PM when he tried to navigate through a herd of cows that appeared on the national highway between Joontha and Beawar. The driver tried to avoid hitting the cows by making an emergency turn, but his car crashed into the roadside barrier.

The accident resulted in extensive damage which destroyed all front parts of the vehicle. RB Choudary suffered major injuries and died on the spot due to the severity of the impact. The accident resulted in serious injuries to both his son-in-law and driver Gautam.

The emergency team transferred the victims to a Jodhpur hospital where they required immediate medical care. Police teams from the local station reached the site and sent his body for postmortem examination.

His body will be transported to Chennai on May 6 for his final ceremonies which will be conducted by the film industry according to their highest standards of respect.

Many celebrities like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Chiranjeevi and many more were deeply saddened by his unexpected demise. The producers who worked with him confirmed his reputation as a kind producer who helped start new actors and actresses in their careers.
