Ranveer Singh recently took a dig at YouTube content creator Dhruv Rathee after he criticised Dhurandhar in his video.

The 40-year-old actor, who earned widespread acclaim for his role in Dhurandhar, finally reacted to the ongoing criticism in a subtle manner.

In his new advertisement with father-in-law Prakash Padukone, fans were quick to spot the poster, featuring the Bajirao Mastani star with the title Bhavandar.

Fans couldn’t stop swooning, flooding the social media with hilarious reactions.

One commented, “This is so meta joke… Bhavandar…”

Another penned, “How Ranveer Singh trolls @dhruv_rathee.”

A third added, “Wait I’m crying, the movie advertised behind them is BHAVANDAR.”

Reflecting on the Padmaavat actor’s roasting style, one fan wrote, “Ranveer is no chill. He roasted Dhruv Rathee so silently.”

This comes on the heels of Rathee criticising Aditya Dhar’s directorial referring to it as Operation Bhavandar.

During the video, the YouTuber said, “Well-made propaganda is more dangerous. Films like The Taj Story and The Bengal Films were not dangerous, because they were bad films. But Dhurandar is an engaging film.”

Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which was released on Thursday, March 19, turned out to be a success for Singh.

For the unversed, the Gully Boy star is currently gearing up for Jai Mehta’s Pralay, scheduled to go on floors later this year.
